General Description
Pooltester Chlorine/pH, visual colour comparison, bloc type, simple scales.
Instructions for use :-
The simple pool/block tester is used for testing for Free (Residual) Chlorine in drinking water using DPD 1 tablets, and Phenol Red tablets for determining the pH level.
Combined Chlorine can potentially be determined by adding DPD 3 for Total Chlorine to the sample containing DPD 1 and from the Total result calculate the difference with Free Chlorine. It has to be noted that in case DPD 3 tablets are employed, the user should ensure a proper cleaning of the test cell and lid after each test to avoid false reading of Free Chlorine afterwards (due to DPD 3 generally containing potassium iodide).

One colorimetric scale for pH and one scale for Chlorine on the same transparent plastic material block.

- for Chlorine from 0.1 to 3.0 mg/l
- for pH from 6.8 to 8.2
Supplied in appropriate housing with reagents for minimum 20 tests of each (i.e. at least with 20 DPD No. 1 and 20 Phenol red rapid dissolving tablets).
